How do they decide where to make the incisions?

I'm sure they weren't concerned about how I was going to wear pants at the time. But, hey, I am now!!! I'm fine with the sweat pants and T-shirt. But, as I am preparing to go back to work on Monday, I'm wondering what on this earth I am going to wear. I am going to have to go and buy some scrubs. Technically we are not supposed to wear them everyday...but, I guess I have a medical excuse, right?!?! 3 out of the 4 of my incisions fall on the line where my pants would go. If I pull them down some, none of my tops are long enough! It is quite the conundrum. Not to mention my incisions are still angry. I thought they had calmed down, but, not so much. They have returned to their itchy, inflamed ways. I am not sure what to do.

I can't wear any kind of medical tape. Believe me, Weston and I have spent about $30 on different kinds, and they all seem to break me out right in those areas. The nurse suggested just letting them be and not having gauze on them, but, that seems to have irritated things even more. My mom had bandaids I was using to hold the gauze pads in place....the only ones that didn't cause a problem. These magical bandaids apparently do not exist in NC, and, I've just run out!!!

So, besides the incesant itching, things are going well. I either have a little cold or maybe some allergy issues. Let's hope for the later! The pain is good-I've moved on to Tylenol. :) Looks like I am gonna need to pick back up on my vitamins and get an extra boost of C!
