HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
2011 was one of the first years in a long while that we were actually sad to see go. What a wonderful close to the end of the year. He is the light of our lives!!! We spent New Year's Eve at home as a family. It was a great way to spend the evening, reflecting on all of our blessings and spending the time together.
Mommy has been playing with her new lens. Camera guru's out there...why are my pictures not CRISP? Some are better than others...

I think maybe they are a tad underexposed.
What are your settings?
Your photos aren't crisp because they're probably not in focus. Do have have telephoto zoom lens? Because if that's the case you probably have a too low apeture setting without a flash and also with telephoto, you need a tripod to be absolutely still otherwise because it's zooming in so close, if you move or breathe, it'll pick up on that movement.
