Baptism

Connor's baptism was this weekend and what a wonderful weekend it was (minus poor daddy being sick ALL day Saturday!). Lots of family came in town to share the day, along with friends. Weston was luckily able to manage through the ceremony quite well without being ill and was feeling SO much better by Sunday and was able to hang out with the family that hadn't had to leave yet. The only thing I would change would him being able to feel 100%, because it threw us both a little off. Luckily, a friend was able to record the ceremony for us and we were able to enjoy it together afterwards.

Father Toole did the ceremony for us. It was just US! No other babies. How special was that? He is such an amazing priest and we feel so blessed he was able to help us celebrate this time. He did special blessings for us and also included Wyatt (he did Wyatt's service for us as well). Everyone that was there came up and did the sign of the cross on Connor's forehead. He also incorporated other children in helping to bless the holy water. It was one of the most amazing baptisms I've ever seen. We are truly blessed!

Connor did so well all day with all the action and people. he only fussed once during the ceremony, and that's because he doesn't like to be held in the cradle position ;)

Here are just a few pics from such a wonderful weekend!!! Thanks everyone for coming and helping us to celebrate such a special day for such a special little guy!!!
