Our new insurance adjuster and mold remediation specialist met at the house today, and, it looks like we are going to get SOME coverage. Keep your fingers crossed-we'll find out tomorrow or Friday how much they will cover (according to standard averages for the work that has been requested), and, we'll also get a quote for the remediation. Then, we'll see what we are stuck with. I don't think they are going to cover flooring...we are going to wait for the estimated coverage before deciding whether to battle that. Insurance only pays $5K for mold; give it up, cause we are going to DEFINITELY need it!!! It's been since March 6 that we vacated that room...
